Sand Island Beach Park. Wanted to run at Sand Island but I forgot my dang shoes! Since I was near the beach, I decided to go for a run on the beach...BIG mistake! The sand was deep, even at the shoreline (quicksand?). I stopped after 15 minutes cuz my Achilles tendons were killing me. All in all...a sucky experience :-/

Sand Island Beach Park. Ran from the back parking lot of Sand Island Beach Park, along Sand Island Parkway to the bridge and back. It drizzled some, during the run, so I had an obstacle course of puddles to make my way past (at the beach park).

West Loch Shoreline Park. Ran south down the bike path thinking 4 miles. I was in a long, slow running mode and felt good as I made my way down Fort Weaver Road. I bumped up my goal to 5 miles as I turned around at Iroquois Rd. By the time I reached the park (starting point), I was almost at 6 miles :)
